Project: Big Wing Boy

This is now officially the home page of Project: Big Wing Boy. This is a temporary name until I make more progress and come up with a better name (in roughly that order).

The Big Wing Boy project is basically going to be an application utility written largely in VBScript for the purpose of customizing and automating the installation of Windows. It will include such features as a GUI and saving settings in XML format. Obviously it is intended for Windows and you will need some form a IE to run it (I'll try to make sure it works with IE 6).

I am going to establish some "milestones" to reach for each version leading up to an actual source code release followed by more milestones for each subsequent release. It will be open source by nature but the license will be GPL (haven't decided GPL 2 or 3 yet).

Pre-release Milestones:

• Create rough draft of GUI
• Learn basics of DOM and VBScript
• Use DOM to create new table rows dynamically
• Populate cells with contents of form fields, tied to button press event
• Make cell contents easily Editable with push of a button
